Governments Practitioners Public

We appreciate your interest in AccessOAP.

We are the new independent intake organization funded by the Government of Ontario to help families access autism services across the province.

You can now visit our new website to learn more about our services at

Accerta Services Inc. operates AccessOAP together with Autism Ontario, HealthCare 365 Inc., and McMaster University (Centre for Health Economics and Policy Analysis (CHEPA) and the Offord Centre for Child Studies).

Our mission, every day, is to support children, youth, and their families with accessing the programs and services that meet their specific needs.

We will:

  1. Support children and youth on the autism spectrum in Ontario and their families by making it easier to access services in a coordinated way.
  2. Provide a support system to help families and youth register with the Ontario Autism Program and access information and services.
  3. Monitor the performance of our services so we can continue to improve the services we offer and provide the best possible experience for the families we serve.

We are part of a new approach that will help families with children and youth on the autism spectrum better understand their options and connect them to the best possible services. We believe in family-centred care and learning from diverse communities and views across Ontario. AccessOAP will listen to families to understand their priorities, so we can help them:

  • Understand the services and supports available to them; and
  • Feel supported to make decisions that are right for them.

With thanks,

The AccessOAP Team
