ACCERTA IS PROUD TO BE A CERTIFIED B CORP SOCIAL ENTERPRISE
A B Corporation (B Corp) certification indicates that Accerta meets the social sustainability and environmental performance standards established by the nonprofit organization B-Lab.
A social enterprise is a business that strives to improve human and environmental wellbeing in the communities in which it operates while providing its clients with efficient services and a high return-on-investment.
Accerta’s B Corp certification provides our clients, their stakeholders and families, and low-income families and individuals in their communities with several advantages.

WHAT IS A B CORP?
The B Corp Certification is a mark of trust: a promise that a company is doing business in a way that meets rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability. B Corps use business as a force for good. To become a B Corp, you have to become certified by B Lab, a third-party non-profit.
The global B Corp community consists of 5,000 B Corps, across 80 countries and 155 industries.
WHY DID WE BECOME ONE?
We believe that using business as a force for good is unquestionably the future of business. Citizens are rightly holding organizations accountable - they need us to make a difference, drive longer-term impact, and make the world a better place.
We’re proud to be a B Corp. It means we hold ourselves to the highest social and environmental standards when it comes to our employees, our government and healthcare partners, and the communities in which we work.

WHAT DO WE WANT TO ACHIEVE?
As a B Corp, we strive to provide Canadian communities with the reliable services they need to improve access to healthcare, advance social standards, and build sustainable and progressive programs that benefit the environment and society at large.
We will endeavour to commit to the B Corp community long term, improving our certification score and reflecting on the progress we’re making in these crucial areas.
In 2022, Accerta was recognized as a Best For the WorldTM B Corp in the Governance area. For two consecutive years, Accerta has achieved this certification among the top 5% of all B Corps worldwide in overall mission, ethics, accountability and transparency. As all B Corps are already businesses that meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose, this is a recognition that makes us incredibly proud!
